Higher Horslett Farmhouse B&B - What's in the Area?

The Eden Project Domes

Higher Horslett Farmhouse B&B is ideally situated in Devon to allow you to visit some of the South West's greatest attractions. As we are so close to the Cornwall border visitors often take the opportunity to visit both counties starting with The Eden Project (pictured on the right) near St Austell, Cornwall.

Built in what was formerly a disused clay mine, the Eden Project stands as a testament to human ingenuity. Inside the domes are rich, inspirational gardens and plant life from all over the world. For horticultural fans and those with a keen interest in learning something new about the world around them the Eden Project is the ideal place to visit.

Lundy Island

Pictured on the left you can see the majestic Lundy Island which is located just off the north coast of Devon and not far at all from our bed & breakfast. Lundy Island is best described on their own website as 'a place apart, peaceful and unspoilt' - it its perfect for hiking, walking, and also taking in some spectacular views.

Nicholas Crane of the Telegraph took a trip to Lundy Island to kick start a new series of National Trust walks back in March 2010. Why not take a peek at 'Hiking on Lundy Island with Nicholas Crane' to get an insight into another gorgeous place to discover in Devon.

Sunset on a Devon Beach

As you are probably aware, Devon & Cornwall are home to some of the most fantastic beaches in the country. Our sunsets can be pretty amazing too. The photograph on the right was taken just a few months ago, on the off chance, at one of Devon's most awe inspiring rocky beaches.

Of course there is a lot more on offer that we simply cannot fit onto the website here! Fortunately, we keep it all in our heads, so if you have a particular interest and you'd like to know what's around, why not simply ask us? We want you to have a lovely stay at our Farmhouse B&B and we are more than happy to share our knowledge of the area with each of our visitors.
